Dr. Reyes Topete MD
Medical Director
Dr. Reyes Topete, M.D. serves as the Medical Director at Desert Recovery Centers, where he has been an integral part of the clinical team since March 2024. With over three decades of medical experience and a distinguished career in addiction medicine, Dr. Topete provides comprehensive medical oversight, including initial physicals, HNP assessments, and ongoing weekly follow-ups across all Desert Recovery locations. He has served as Medical Director for leading behavioral health facilities throughout Arizona, including Soul Surgery Recovery, Oasis Behavioral Health, and Turning Point Healing Center. A graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Dr. Topete completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. His expertise, compassion, and dedication to recovery medicine have made him one of Arizona’s most respected physicians in the field of addiction and behavioral health.
